Dragon Inn - Crickhowell

Enjoyed my relaxing stay for two nights. Everyone was accommodating and the room was immaculate and en suite. The restaurant was good for dinner, I tried amazing dishes. It had very central location close to St Edmund's Church.

It offers a marvellous location in the centre of the city...

The cozy and well-decorated common areas provide a cute atmosphere. The garden space is a nice touch, especially on a summer evening.

Getting to the car park requires a bit of skill due to its narrow entry. In the Standard Double Room, the floor slopes as I seemed like I was rolling throughout the night. The mattress itself could use an upgrade. No room servicing , a letdown. Breakfast service felt rushed, and hearing plumbing noise from adjacent rooms disrupted my peace more than a few times. A few minor maintenance issues, like chipped furniture, caught my eye.

I had an amazing stay! The roast was delicious and the sweet portion was huge, perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was warm, making it a lovely birthday memory. Definitely returning!

Cute environment for families

We stayed with our small family and loved the spacious family room. The gorgeous veranda overlooked the beer garden. The staff was super friendly and helped us feel right at home.

For dads, it would be great if breakfast portions were more consistent.

After a long drive, we found solace at this cute place. The staff were attentive, our pup felt right at home. Enjoyed a delectable mushroom soufflé and fresh soup, perfect for refueling before our journey. Make sure to reserve a table during peak hours!

The stay featured a large ensuite bathroom and a garden that was larger and more beautiful than expected, providing ample seating for summer enjoyment. The private dining arrangement suited our group well, with everyone enjoying excellently served meals. Breakfast was particularly excellent, showcasing local fresh products, which contributed to a pleasant overall experience, though the narrow entrance to private parking could pose a challenge for some.

Good hotel with free WiFi, comfortable rooms, and a cozy bar area. The staff were helpful during my first stay, especially caring for my elderly parents. I'll be back for a romantic escape.
